My name is Mat, I run a professional sharpening service and blog over at Verdevalleyshaprening.com.  I am the husband of a beautiful wife and father to a darling daughter who thinks that my hammock is hers. We also have an additional member of the family that nobody sees, it is my wife’s chronic illness, called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  It is an autoimmune problem in her body, making her tired often, much more than the average person.  It is the reason I am building my business from home, so I can help her and provide parental attention to our daughter.  I had an epiphany one day, and realized that I was not the only person who was supporting my chronically ill spouse, and perhaps my experiences might help others as well.
